History

Taken from the Steppe at such a young age he can barely remember it, Lyosha spent most of his childhood within the borders of Kugane and Eorzea, raised by a former Sharlayan scholar who took an interest in the Xaela child.

Finally freed from the sheltering wing of his mentor, Lyosha has only just begun to explore the world of his own volition.

Research

Obsessed with the arcane ever since a mysterious childhood illness nearly took his life, Lyosha pursues his research with a dangerous fervor. This single-minded interest has made him an expert in many fields, from geomancy to alchemy, but it also leaves him prone to manic bouts of obsession.

Flaws

Arrogant. Temperamental. Overly passionate and painfully loquacious. Most people in Lyosha's academic field cannot stand the Xaela - and it is not difficult to see why. Behind the haughty exterior rests deep-seated insecurity, a craving for approval, and a well-documented inability to read social situations and others' emotional states.
